Bayati Environmental Consulting, Inc.

Effective Date: 2026-09-17

Last Updated: 2026-09-17

This Privacy Policy explains how Bayati Environmental Consulting, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.asbestosleadmoldconsulting.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. We provide asbestos, lead, and mold consulting, inspection, and testing services in Southern California, primarily to contractors, builders, and property owners.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information you give us. When you use the contact form on the Site or email us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, the subject of your inquiry, and the contents of your message. Messages about a project commonly include a property address and a description of the site or building conditions, because that is what you need to tell us to get a useful answer.

1.2. Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website host and the security tools on our contact form may automatically record standard technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit — to keep the Site working, to measure general traffic, and to distinguish real inquiries from automated abuse.

1.3. Cookies and similar technologies. Our website host, Squarespace, sets cookies on the Site: some are necessary for it to function, such as one that protects the contact form against forged submissions, and some measure visits for Squarespace’s built-in site analytics. The bot-protection service on our contact form (Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise) may also set cookies and read information about your browser and device in order to tell people from automated scripts. We do not run advertising or retargeting campaigns from this Site. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.

1.4. What we do not collect. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information through this Site — for example government identification numbers, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or medical or health information — and you should not send that kind of information through our contact form or by unencrypted email. If you need to send us something sensitive in the course of a project, contact us and we will arrange another method.

1.5. Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, and some have a similar global opt-out preference. There is no common industry standard for how a website should answer one. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals or other opt-out signals, and our behavior does not change when we receive one. We treat every visitor the same way regardless of the signal, and we do not use this Site for advertising or cross-site tracking of our own.

1.6. Other parties that operate across websites. Answering the question California law requires us to answer directly: yes, other parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this Site. We use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise on our contact form and Adobe Typekit to serve the fonts on our pages. Google and Adobe are large service providers whose tools appear on very many websites, and each of them receives information about your visit — at minimum your IP address and technical details about your browser — when those tools load. What they do with that information across the other websites they serve is governed by their own policies, not ours, and is outside our control. We do not receive, buy, or use any cross-site profile from them. We do not control what those companies do with the information their tools collect. If you want to limit this, browser settings, tracking-protection features, and content blockers are the practical tools, and Google’s and Adobe’s own privacy policies describe their practices.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information to: respond to your inquiry and provide estimates, consulting, inspection, and testing services; schedule and carry out work and keep records of it; protect the Site and our contact form from spam and abuse; and comply with law. We do not use it for unrelated purposes, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

3. How We Share Information

3.1. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3.2. Vendors that run the Site and our inquiry process. The Site and our contact form depend on the following vendors, each of which receives information as part of providing its service. Each vendor handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. They are:

  • Squarespace — hosts the website and processes submissions from the contact form.
  • Google (reCAPTCHA Enterprise) — bot and abuse detection on the contact form; it evaluates each submission attempt to decide whether it is automated.
  • Adobe (Typekit) — delivers the web fonts used on our pages; your browser requests those fonts from Adobe’s servers when a page loads.
  • Google (Gmail) — delivers and stores the messages sent through our contact form so we can read and answer them.

3.3. Other parties in the ordinary course of a project. If you hire us, we may share what is necessary with people involved in your project — for example an accredited laboratory that analyzes samples we collect, or another party you direct us to communicate with. We may also provide reports and results to a public agency where a project or a regulation requires it.

3.4. Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the public.

3.5. Business transfer. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

4. Data Retention

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as we need it to answer you, to carry out and document the work, and to keep our ordinary business and tax records, and longer where a law, a contract, or a professional record-keeping obligation requires it. We do not operate on a fixed deletion schedule. If you ask us to delete information, we will consider the request against the records we are required to keep and tell you what we can do. Information can also remain in backups, email archives, and project files until it ages out in the ordinary course.

5. Your Information

5.1. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If we hold information about you because you contacted us or we worked on your project, Section 5.2 says how to reach us about it.

5.2. Reviewing or changing your information. We do not run a formal process for reviewing or changing personal information, and we would rather say that plainly than describe a process we do not have. If you want to know what we hold about you, or you want something corrected or removed, write to us at bayaticonsultant@gmail.com or use the contact form on the Site and tell us what you are asking for. We may ask you for details that help us locate the right records. We have not set a response time for these requests and this Policy does not create one.

6. Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection, and our contact form uses bot protection to reduce abuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a breach of unencrypted personal information occurs, we will notify affected California residents as required by California Civil Code section 1798.82.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we post the revised Policy on this page and change the “Last Updated” date at the top. That posting is how we notify visitors of changes to this Policy, including material ones.
